Sisu Award Program
​All tiers are 5 legs to earn:
Pre-entry only, to follow shows pre-entry schedule

​Emerald $10 to Enter 

• One leg per trial 
• Legs earned in a minimum of 2 sports
• Conformation: any win over another dog
• Performance: a Qualifying score, all levels count

​Ruby $20 to Enter

• One leg per trial, 
• Legs earned in a minimum of 2 sports
• Conformation: 
  • Breed over another dog -or-
  • Group placement over another dog -or-
  • RBIS/BIS over another dog
• Rally: 2 Qualifying Scores for 1 leg, all levels count
• Nosework: 2 Qualifying Scores for 1 leg, all levels count 
• Weight Pull: Must pull minimum of X times their weight:
  • Wheels Natural: 8 times
  • Wheels Artificial:10 times
  • Snow: 5 times
  • Rails: 15 times

Ultimate Sisu Dog!

• $5 to enter
• This is an add on, you must be entered in one of the tiers listed above
• To earn you must:
  • Earn a qualifying score in each performance sport being offered 
  • Earn a conformation win over another dog. (All Americans exempt form this requirement but must earn 2 qualifying scores in at least one of the performance sports being offered)
  • All levels count  
• Only offered at events with 4 or more sports being offered

​Sapphire $30 to Enter

• Legs earned in a minimum of 3 sports
• Conformation: 
  • Group placement over another dog -or-
  • BIS/RBIS over another dog
• Rally: 
  • URO1 doesn’t count 
  • Qualify in 2 levels, in same trial, for a total of 2 legs
• Nosework: 
  • Qualify in 2 elements 
  • In Superior, Master, or Elite levels for a total of 2 legs
• Weight Pull: 
  • B Division Only
  • Pull to 20 points -or-
  • Place over another dog in weight/division -or-
  • Most Weight Pulled Per Body Pound

Diamond $40 to enter 

• Legs earned in a minimum of 3 sports 
• Conformation: 
  • Group placement over another dog -or-
  • BIS/RBIS over another dog
• Rally: 
  • URO1 not included
  • Qualify in 2 levels, in the same trial, for a total of 1 leg 
• Nosework: 
  • Qualify in 2 elements in Superior, Master, Elite levels for a total of 1 leg
• Weight Pull: 
  • B Division Only
  • Pull to 25 points -or-
  • Place over 2 other dogs in weight/division -or-
  • Most Weight Pulled Per Body Point ​

The Sisu award may be offered at events being done in conjunction with other clubs. At these events a minimum of 1 leg must be earned at a sport hosted by Sisu. 

Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: Can I enter more than one dog for the Sisu award?
A: Yes!

Q: If I sign up for the Sapphire level, but do not qualify, can I qualify for a lower level?
​A: No, you can only qualify for the level you signed up for.

Q: Can I sign up for more than one level per dog?
​A: No, 1 level per dog. However, you can add on the Ultimate Sisu Dog. 

Examples of the levels being earned:
Emerald:
Dog A entered with conformation and rally
Show 1 placed over another dog in OPEN class, Show 2 no placement, Show 3 took breed, and show 4 took a group 2 (this gave them 3 legs in confo) 
Rally they entered URO2 A and received scores of: NQ, 84, 93, and 78. (this gave them 3 legs in rally) 
They earned their 5 legs!!!
Dog B entered nose work and rally
Nosework they entered all 4 elements Novice A. They received a Q in all searches. (this gave them 8 legs more than the 5 needed but not meeting the enquired 2 sports)
Rally they entered URO3 B and received scores of: 98, 96, 100, and 97 (this gave them 4 lehs)
They earned their 5 legs in 2 sports!!
